Hershey’s 7oz. Giant Silver Foil Kiss

I always remember from elementary school when everyone was exchanging Valentines (in our brought-from-home shoe boxes wrapped in red, white and pink construction paper – you know what I’m talking about!), and there was always some popular popular, rich cliquey girl who would give her three BFFs these super giant solid milk chocolate Hershey’s Kisses and they would parade them around not share with anyone.  I clearly was jealous because I obviously was too dorky to be part of this clique, but ever since then these Giant Kisses have been among my most favorite, coveted Valentine’s candy.  And I always feel like a cool, popular girl when one is given to me.

Who doesn’t love receiving a chocolate heart for Valentine’s Day?  Am I the only one who struggles to not eat one of these all in one sitting.  So which kind do you eat first?  My favorite are the caramels and then the nougat filled chocolates, so I eat all of the squares then rectangles first.

A yummy cherry in a liquid center, covered in milk chocolate.  What could be better?  Here is another Valentine’s Day gift that I will gladly sit down with and eat the entire thing all in one sitting.  I don’t see what’s wrong with that.  Eat your Valentine’s Day candy while it’s still Valentine’s Day, right?

Ok, here’s one Valentine’s treat that I probably won’t eat all in one sitting, but if my kids start to misbehave and stress me out, then this is a bag that I will raid and stuff in my face while the kiddos are enduring a time out.  What a great stress-buster!

It doesn’t get more Valentine’s Day-ey than this, right?  These are still classic, and probably always will be.  Oh, and you have to eat quite a lot of these before starting to feel sick.  Looking back on this post, I might have an over-eating problem … naah! My favorite are the minty white ones, but my least favorite are the purple ones which have an indescribable flavor that might be attempting to be something like a grape flavor, but is far far off, at least in my opinion.

I think I’m in love with these minty Oreo cookies.  Aren’t they beautiful?  Our friends at One Charming Party have created something truly amazing here and I’m pretty sure I’m going to be making these year round and not just as a holiday treat.

Here’s all you need:

• White Chocolate Melts
• Mint Candies

If you’ve ever wondered how to to make a great gingerbread house, check out this video from Marian at Sweetopia.  It’s totally worth the 10 minutes to see her put together a gorgeous and delicious looking edible house.  Also if you go to this link, she provides templates for making the gingerbread house walls too.
