February Isn’t Just for Valentine’s Day

Did you know that in February there are a number of lesser known holidays and national awareness days that you  can celebrate?  We’re particularly interested in ones that have to do with candy, so here’s a list of some other ways to celebrate your sweet tooth this month.

February 15: National Gum Drop Day – Get out your Candyland board game and play a round or two in honor of this sweet holiday!

February 19: National Chocolate Mint Day – One of my favorite days of the year.  You can never have enough sweets flavored with chocolate and mint.  Peppermint Patties, here I come!

February 20: National Cherry Pie Day – Cherry Pies are America’s second favorite pie (apple pie is its first), but in February it’s #1!

February 24: National Tortilla Chip Day – Let’s add some salty into this sweet mix of holidays and celebrate one of America’s favorite snacks.

February is also known as the Great American Pie Month and the National Cherry Month.
